Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced PreK Teacher. This position is full-time, but offers some flexibility in schedule. You will be working alongside another experienced PreK teacher in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom where each child thrives.
- Communicate regularly and positively with parents and families.
- Input each child's daily activities into our school app.
- Observe and document each child's individual growth and development through assessment reports.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and administration to provide the highest quality of child care.
- Help create a positive classroom community where every child feels loved and safe.
- Implement our robust curriculum, while also prioritzing play-based learning.
- Plan and provide engaging experiences that encourage exploration, curiosity, sensory development, and early learning.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized classroom by following procedures and health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or equivilant required
- 3+ Years of experience, experience with 3-5 year olds preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
- Ability to navigate a school app, inputting daily activites throughout the day
- Familiarity with Conscious Discipline
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must successfully complete required background checks and employment screening
